The Sun is in fall in Libra, and the traditional language is unhelpfully harsh about what is actually a specific structural situation. The Sun's business is the establishment of a separate self. Libra's business is the other person. The two are genuinely in tension, and this placement therefore has to do consciously what an Aries Sun does automatically.
What it gains in exchange is real. A Libra Sun can hold two opposed positions with equal seriousness, see merit in an argument it disagrees with, and construct a resolution neither party would have reached alone. This makes it a natural mediator and an enormous asset in any room where two people have stopped listening.
The fairness is genuine rather than performed, and the aesthetic dimension is not incidental. This Sun is physically affected by its surroundings and will adjust a space, a tension or its own presentation for the comfort of the room, frequently without noticing and often at some cost.
The difficulty is the same faculty applied to its own life. A placement that can see every side has real trouble choosing one, and Libra decision-making extends indefinitely, not from weakness but because each option has merit and choosing means being unfair to the other.
